Anytime is a good time to consume bananas.

With that conviction, Chiquita is launching its spring-summer “It’s Chiquita o’clock” campaign.

The limited-edition Blue Sticker series is complete with scannable stickers that highlight ways the bananas can be consumed at all times of the day, according to a news release. The sticker series will be available in markets just in time to celebrate National Banana Day on April 19 and will adorn millions of Chiquita bananas through June, the release said.

The transformed “It’s Chiquita o’clock” stickers feature QR codes for customers to easily discover trendy ideas and innovative ways to incorporate Chiquita bananas at breakfast, for midday snacks and dessert. The QR Codes will redirect customers to food content on Chiquita’s website, which will also feature an interactive “It’s Chiquita o’clock” consumer promotion, according to the release.

Fans will have a chance to engage in time-of-day-themed games and win premium “Chiquitized” prizes, the release said.

“As people’s lifestyles, consumption habits and diet trends continue to evolve, Chiquita hopes this sticker series will serve as a fun reminder that healthy eating doesn’t have to be complicated and that bananas go far beyond breakfast time,” Tina Varjabedcian, global communications manager for Chiquita, said in the release. “Whether they’re enjoyed earlier in the day in smoothies or on toast, or used in crowd-pleaser and shareable recipes such as fun dips or mocktails, Chiquita bananas are a delicious and simple way to add essential vitamins and nutrients to any diet plan and at any time of day.”
