Freshline Foods debuts Paw Patrol line with fresh-cut apples
Nickelodeon’s Paw Patrol is coming to the fresh-cut section of the produce aisle.
Freshline Foods, Mississauga, Ontario, is adding the puppies from Paw Patrol to its line of sliced apples, including grape- and peach-flavored apples and red and green apple wedges.
The new products come in 55-gram (2-ounce) packs, five to a clamshell. Each has a different Paw Patrol design, according to a news release.
“With the help of one of Canada’s most popular, top-rated and gender-neutral television programs for kids ages 2 to 11, we’re able to bring more visibility to our sliced apple products on store shelves and help children to make the connection between healthy snacking and the animated Paw Patrol characters to which they relate,” Freshline Foods vice president Noel Brigido said in the release.
The new products are available at retailers in Canada.
