Mastronardi Produce is showcasing Wow brand berries at the United Fresh Produce Association’s show.

The greenhouse grower will have its full line of Sunset berries, including the rebranded Wow berries, at the United Fresh show June 10-12 in Chicago.

“We can’t wait to share our new Wow berry line,” Nicole Balderas, vice president of marketing at Mastronardi Produce, said in a news release. “The unique flavor notes of each premium berry are — quite literally — better than chocolate and will completely change expectations for how a berry should taste.”

Wow brand berries, along with Sunset’s Backyard Compostable packaging and Sprinkles tomatoes, are finalists for United Fresh’s Innovation Award.

Wow “brand ambassadors” will be at the United Fresh Late Night Party June 11 at the House of Blues, where berry cocktails will be served and the first 150 guests to sample six new Wow berry varieties will receive a “special take-away,” according to the release.

“Sunset revolutionized the tomato category by delivering a new level of quality, flavor, and innovation, and we’re going to do it again with berries,” Paul Mastronardi, president and CEO, said in the release.
