Mastronardi’s Wow berries win best promo award at Fresh Summit

Mastronardi Produce, Kingsville, Ontario, was recognized as having the Best Overall Product Promo at the Produce Marketing Association’s Fresh Summit for Wow berries.

A panel of retailers and others from the industry chose the berries for the Best in Show Award to recognize the company’s creativity in promotion, with a focus on online exhibitor listing and display showcase, as well as merchandising at the Mastronardi Produce expo booth, according to a news release.

“We’re thrilled that Wow berries was a judges’ favorite,” Paul Mastronardi, president and CEO, said in the release. “Initial retailer and customer response to these remarkable berries has been tremendous, and our team was incredibly excited to showcase them at PMA.”   

Dreamberry strawberries in the line have started shipping, according to the news release.
