PMA sets speakers for April 15 Virtual Town Hall

A panel of retail and foodservice experts will share their perspectives on the COVID-19 crisis at the Produce Marketing Association’s April 15 Virtual Town Hall.

A panel of retail and foodservice experts will share their perspectives on the COVID-19 crisis at the Produce Marketing Association’s April 15 Virtual Town Hall.

Registration for the PMA member event is free and is available online.
The event will begin at 12 noon Eastern.

According to the PMA, speakers at the Virtual Town Hall will be:

  • Laura Himes, district merchandising manager for produce, Walmart, Bentonville, Ark.;
  • Reade Sievert, vice president of corporate produce for Associated Wholesale Grocers, Kansas City, Kan.;
  • Robin Fischer, category manager of P.F. Chang’s, Scottsdale, Ariz. and
  • Kix McGinnis Nystrom, vice president of kitchen operations for The Cheesecake Factory, Calabasas, Calif..


The PMA said four separate Virtual Roundtable discussions will follow the speakers’ presentations:

  • Growers/Shippers, Supply Chain and Global Trade;
  • Retail/Grocery;
  • Foodservice; and
  • Floral Supply Chain.
