The Westfalia Fruit Group is pleased to announce the appointment of Danielle Willems as Group Communications Executive from 1 October 2021.

Danielle is an experienced, culturally adaptable and high-energy communications executive with over 15 years’ experience in corporate and business communications, transformation and crisis management. Danielle has built a strong and broad communications career primarily within large scale, complex and international businesses in the chemicals, and now agricultural sectors. Her expertise is a balance between internal and external communications, and she has a clear passion and drive for change and crisis management, as well as sustainability.

Danielle is currently leading Corporate Communications for the EMEA Animal Nutrition business of one of the world’s largest agricultural conglomerates, Cargill. Prior to joining Cargill, Danielle enjoyed an almost ten-year career within Saudi-owned and headquartered chemical company, Sabic. Alongside her official responsibilities she also drove communications for several global strategic projects, including the merger of the two largest strategic business units globally, acting as a strategic advisor to the senior management and Board.
