As consumers contend with a “tripledemic” of the flu, COVID-19 and the respiratory syncytial virus (known as RSV), the Mushroom Council, based in Lee’s Summit, Mo., will continue to support its ongoing Feed Your Immune System campaign with a refreshed promotion in the first quarter of 2023, according to a news release.

The initiative has been educating consumers since 2020 about the role mushrooms play in supporting a healthy immune system.

Last year’s winter promotion earned more than 23.5 million impressions, an increase of 9% over the 2021 campaign, according to the Mushroom Council.
