Marketing Plus, a Fresno, Calif.-based marketing and advertising agency, has promoted Johnna Johnson to vice president of marketing and client services. With this new role, Johnson will be responsible for leading the agency's marketing and client services departments as well as driving the growth and success of the business.

Johnson has been an essential part of Marketing Plus since joining Team Orange in the summer of 2013, according to a news release. After completing a bachelor's degree in business administration with an option in marketing from California State University, Fresno, Johnson first served as the junior accounts coordinator, learning the ropes of the agency.

Through the years she has evolved with her responsibilities, leading to her most recent role as accounts director for Marketing Plus, according to the release. Specifically, she handled client accounts as well as led the M+ team.

Johnson has consistently demonstrated exceptional leadership skills, strategic thinking and unwavering dedication to the agency's clients, and her deep understanding of marketing and advertising has contributed significantly to the agency's growth and reputation, the release said.

In her new role, Johnson will continue to lead the agency's marketing and client services, overseeing the development and execution of all marketing strategies for all clients. She will also be responsible for building and maintaining strong client relationships, ensuring that the agency delivers the highest level of service and value to its clients.

"We are thrilled to promote Johnna to vice president of marketing and client services," Julie Lucido, president and CEO of Marketing Plus, said in the release. “Johnna's passion for the industry, as well as talent for leading campaigns that produce results for our clients year after year has been remarkable. Her hands-on relationship-based approach made her a perfect fit for Marketing Plus when she first interviewed 10 years ago — but it is no surprise she took to produce marketing and hasn't stopped since. From building brands, media buys that drive sales, to building concepts and campaigns, and being the road warrior managing trade shows for all our clients — her can-do attitude and leadership skills continue to be an asset to our team and all our clients she works with.’’

“I am excited for what the future holds and honored to step into this new role at Marketing Plus,” Johnson said in the release. “The relationships I have formed with our clients and team are what fuel my passion for what we do. I never envisioned my path after graduation would lead me to an agency that specializes in the produce and food industry, however after being here for the last 10 years I couldn’t imagine doing anything else. The age-old saying ‘If you love what you do, you never work a day in your life’ ... well, it’s true.”

Marketing Plus is an all-inclusive marketing and advertising agency that specializes in brand development, trade show management, digital marketing, social media marketing, content marketing and more.
