Another year, another record for avocado import value

U.S. avocado imports for the January through September period are way up this year.

U.S. avocado imports for the January through September period are way up this year.

So far this year, through September, the USDA said avocado import value was $2.168 billion, up 19% compared with last year and the biggest value ever for that time period. See the chart below for the comparisons.
