The 2018 edition of Interpoma, a biennial event geared to the apple production sector, is set for Nov. 15-17 in Bolzano, Italy.

The conference will focus on apple production developments in Europe and Asia.

“The plan is to look at what’s happening in apple production in the Near and Far East,” Kurt Werth, Congress organizer and coordinator, said in a news release.

He said the conference will closely examine apple industry developments in Russia, where a large amount of investment in terms of both land and resources is taking place in the Caucasus region.
