New Rochelle, N.Y.-based LGS Specialty Sales has announced that its Tiny Tim’s mini avocados are now available in a more economical bag.

Tiny Tim’s label mini avocados launched last year with good results, according to a news release. This year, with retail feedback, the company is offering a cost-effective packaging solution, according to the company.

Retailers can now buy Tiny Tim’s at a lower price point and offer shoppers expanded options with either a 6-count or 2-pound bag, according to the release.

“Since its launch last fall, we have taken great care in developing the Tiny Tim’s avocado brand and positioning it as the ideal single-serve snack for the health and convenience-focused shopper,” Stephen Fink, avocado category manager at LGS, said in the release. “While the product has been extremely well received, we heard concerns from retailers over the carton and felt it was important to make sure that we provide the best price point, without sacrificing quality, which resulted in this new packaging option.”

LGS Specialty Sales will be at the Produce Marketing Association’s Fresh Summit, at booth No. 1761 Oct. 19-20 in Orlando, Fla.
