Lone Star Citrus names sales assistant

Jacob Jordan, a December graduate of Texas A&M University, has joined Lone Star Citrus Growers, Mission, Texas, as a sales assistant, said Trent Bishop, vice president of sales.

Jacob Jordan, a December graduate of Texas A&M University, has joined Lone Star Citrus Growers, Mission, Texas, as a sales assistant, said Trent Bishop, vice president of sales.

Jordan likely will be promoted to salesman within a year or so, Bishop said.

After a rainy start, the season has been shaping up well for Lone Star Citrus, he said.

Quality has been “nice” on grapefruit and oranges, but sizing has been smaller, especially on grapefruit.
