Jessie Capote, vice president for Miami-based J&C Tropicals, said the company’s branded Dragon Fuel dragon fruit will be featured at retail stores all over the country.

“It’s the first dragon fruit brand in the country, and we expect to do upwards of 3 million pounds,” he said.

The company is also coming out with some new packaging this year, he said.
