Collinsville, Ill.-based packaging manufacturer Sev-Rend Corp. is seeing increased focus on recyclable packaging, said Jeff Watkin, marketing director.

“Recyclable packaging is the newest addition that we have seen a lot of activity on,” he said.

“This comes from the entire package being constructed of similar plastics that are easily recyclable where the infrastructure exists for the customer. We are seeing huge demands for sustainable packaging options across the board, but promotability depends upon how consumers typically dispose of the packaging.”
