Starr Ranch Growers, Wenatchee, Wash., is getting some star power for Juici and Koru apples, which are being served backstage at a production starring Lady Gaga.

The apples are being shipped to Las Vegas, where they will be available to performers at Enigma, at the Park MGM, according to a news release.

Juici is exclusive to Starr Ranch Growers. The Koru, a variety from New Zealand, is also juicy, according to the release.

Enigma producers, wanting to serve healthful food backstage, requested the apples. The show runs through May.

“Apples are a great choice for active people who want a healthy snack,” Krista Beckstead, marketing and brand specialist for Starr Ranch Growers, said in the release. “The production company needs food that provides long-lasting energy but is low in calories — apples are a perfect fit and we think Juici and Koru will create many new fans.”
