Allen Lund Co. gives back

Logistics specialist Allen Lund Co.’s employees and family members joined North Shore Burgers to participate in feeding the homeless in downtown Los Angeles.

This is the company’s third consecutive year donating time to help to feed the homeless at St. Vincent De Paul’s Cardinal Manning Center, according to a news release.

“It is a distinct privilege to provide a hot meal to the homeless men who call the Cardinal Manning Center home while transitioning into employment,” Nora Trueblood, marketing director at Allen Lund, said in the release.

The Cardinal Manning Center is a homeless shelter in downtown Los Angeles that offers a comprehensive program for adult men. The program assists in transitioning men from the streets into housing.

This event is one of many in Allen Lund Co.’s Acts of Kindness annual campaign, according to the release.
