New Jersey firm awarded $239M contract to supply New York military operations and schools

Frank Gargiulo & Son Inc., Hillside, N.J., has been awarded a $239.4 million contract to supply fresh fruits and vegetables to military facilities and schools in New York.

The contract will run through Aug. 23, 2025, according to a news release.

The three-year contract was competitive, with four total responses received from industry operators, according to the release.

The contracting agency is the Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support, Philadelphia, Pa.
