Nominate outstanding farmers for two awards

In 2018, Top Producer will present its 18th Top Producer of the Year Award and seventh Tomorrow’s Top Producer Horizon Award. They pay tribute to remarkable farmers who have taken risks, built successful businesses and given back to their communities.

“The contributions these farmers make to their communities, teams and agriculture as a whole are unbelievable,” says Sara Schafer, Top Producer Editor. “Their stories serve as inspiration for their peers and future generations of farmers.”

Producers who have won these awards represent diverse operations spanning row crops, fruits, vegetables, dairy, beef, straw and more. But their stories are compelling not only because of the markets they serve but because of the outstanding business practices they have adopted over time. They have faced hardship and stayed true to personal missions. The mark of these winners is not risk aversion but a capacity to work hard and win.
