Wisconsin produce firm awarded $49M supply contract

AJ Wholesale Produce has been awarded a contract to supply fresh fruits and vegetables to schools and reservations.

AJ Wholesale Produce, Sheboygan, Wis., has been awarded a maximum $49.9 million contract to supply fresh fruits and vegetables to schools and reservations.

The three-year contract, through the Defense Logistics Agency, has no option periods, according to a news release. The location of performance is Michigan, with a Dec. 20, 2025, ordering period end date, the release said.

Customers will be schools supplied by the USDA and reservations.
