Ocean Mist is expanding its organic acreage, and has hired Dan Solomon as organic production manager.

Solomon, formerly with Earthbound Farm, has more than 22 years of experience in fresh produce, according to a news release.

The company has been busy on organic growth since unveiling the Ocean Mist Organic brand in 2015, according to the release, and it now offers 17 organic vegetables.

“We have been thoughtfully expanding the Ocean Mist Organic brand over the past three years, strategically increasing production, while ensuring Ocean Mist Farms’ strict standards are being met,” Diana McClean, senior director of marketing, said in the release.
