Camposol Holdings, a multinational fresh produce company, has appointed Ricardo Naranjo Fernández as its new CEO effective Jan. 1.

The Lima, Peru-based company said Naranjo Fernández, who has served as interim CEO since June, has demonstrated collaboration, teamwork, leadership and remarkable results. Camposol Holdings said his ability to adapt, lead with impact and build trust solidified his position as a natural leader.

Naranjo Fernández has more than 15 years of experience in the agriculture sector in finance and strategy, according to a news release. Camposol said his strategic vision, ability to lead high-performing teams and expertise in implementing innovative and technological strategies makes him the ideal person to lead the company into its next chapter of growth and success.

The company also said Samuel Dyer Coriat will step down from his role as executive chairman of the board while remaining as board chairman. Camposol said the move reflects its commitment to enhancing executive leadership under Naranjo Fernández’s leadership.

“Ricardo has shown extraordinary dedication and commitment to our mission of improving lives through agriculture,” Dyer Coriat said in a news release. “I am confident that his leadership will steer Camposol toward even greater achievements as we consolidate our growth and pursue new opportunities. I extend my best wishes to Ricardo for continued success in this important role.”
