Limoneira adds to Southeast, West sales staff

Limoneira Co., Santa Paula, Calif., has hired Tara Saldaña and Brett Johnson in sales.

Limoneira Co., Santa Paula, Calif., has hired Tara Saldaña and Brett Johnson in sales.

Saldaña is responsible customers and sales in the Southeast U.S., and others throughout the Eastern U.S., according to a news release.

Most recently, she was regional customer manager for the Southeast for Fresh Express, where she worked for 10 years. Before that, she worked for Skinner Nurseries and C.H. Robinson, according to the release. She will be located in Tampa, Fla.

Johnson is Limoneira’s western sales director. He most recently was at Lakeside Produce, a supplier of greenhouse vegetables from Canada and Mexico. Before that, he had various sales positions at C.H. Robinson, IFCO Systems and Ready Pac Foods, according to the release. He will be in Phoenix.

“Tara and Brett have already hit the ground running,” Alex Teague, senior vice president and chief operating officer, said in the release. “We’re excited to have them on board as we accelerate our Take a Healthy Stand initiative to continue driving lemon consumption and look forward to having them with us at PMA’s Fresh Summit in Anaheim.”
