ODW Logistics hires Gary Meador as chief operating officer

Gary Meador has joined ODW Logistics, Columbus, Ohio, as chief operating officer.

Gary Meador has joined ODW Logistics, Columbus, Ohio, as chief operating officer.

Meador most recently was vice president of operations for the Latin America region, Global Logistics for UPS. He was with UPS in a variety of roles over 15 years.

He will lead contract logistics operations, Dist-Trans (the company’s regional asset-based fleet), and the operations excellence teams, including quality, safety and security and facilities maintenance, according to a news release.

“Gary’s diverse experience in operations, continuous improvement and project management will support ODW’s focus on providing innovative solutions that create cost and service advantages for our clients,” ODW President Ted Nikolai said in the release.
