Oswaldo Silva is the new vice president and chief procurement officer at Square One Farms LLC, Miramar, Fla.
He has more than 25 years of experience in the international produce industry, according to a news release.
The company is a supplier of Mexican and Peruvian produce. Silva will oversee product sourcing to extend seasonality, according to the release.
“We are pleased to have Silva on the team to drive supply chain efficiencies to ensure we meet our high quality and service standards,” Tim Ryan, president and founder of Square One Farms, said in the release. “We have been growing rapidly and having Oswaldo on our team is an asset for our continued growth.”
