Nathan Wise has joined Collinsville, Ill.-based packaging manufacturer Sev-Rend as its new director of sales for Texas and the Southeastern U.S.

“Nathan’s experience is fantastic,” Mark Hoppenjans, Sev-Rend vice president of sales and sustainable business, said in a news release. “His background in retail, supply chain and sustainability will have an immediate impact on Sev-Rend customers. We’re excited to have Nathan in the field and on our team.”

Wise previously served as the Eastern sales manager for Tosca Ltd. and has a track record of developing relationships with key stakeholders in the retail grocery industry, according to the release.

Sev-Rend said Wise’s time at Ole Mexican Foods and Snyder’s Lance Inc. further enhanced his expertise in business development and retail sales, making him a valuable member to the company.

“I’m thrilled to jump into the Sev-Rend adventure as the new director of sales, south,” Wise said in the release. “Leading the charge in sustainable packaging, this is more than a job — it’s an excitement-packed journey.”
