West Pak hires Joe Nava in sales, business development

West Pak Avocado Inc. has hired Joe Nava as vice president of sales and business development.

West Pak Avocado Inc. has hired Joe Nava as vice president of sales and business development.

He most recently was at Calavo Growers, as senior account manager for six years, according to a news release. Before that, he was at Mission Produce, as account manager for four years. His experience includes sales, sales management, forecasting, inventory management and supply chain, according to the release.

At West Pak, he’ll work with the sales department and senior vice president of sales and marketing, Doug Meyer, and will be instrumental with new talent acquisitions as the company grows, according to the release.

As a member of West Pak’s executive management, he’ll be a key contributor to marketing and research and development campaigns, according to the release.

“Joe’s sales experience, professionalism, and leadership in the avocado industry are the exact attributes we need in this new role,” Meyer said in the release.
