Bolthouse launching more than two dozen new products at Fresh Summit

Only a few months removed from its acquisition this summer, Bolthouse Farms plans to debut more than two dozen new products at the Produce Marketing Association’s Fresh Summit.

The company was bought in June by private equity firm Butterfly, headed up by Jeff Dunn, who led Bolthouse for six years before the sale to Campbell in 2014.

“Product innovation is fueling our growth once again,” president Bill Levisay said in a news release. “We are very excited about the breadth of our new products and product lines, all examples of Bolthouse Farms evolving to a healthier and more functional platform.”

The company is launching ready-to-drink protein beverages designed for consumers on the keto diet. Flavors in the line, expected to be available in February, include dark chocolate, coconut, coffee and matcha.

Bolthouse will also debut at the show a line of carrot-based “functional shots,” with SKUs including Immunity, Digestion, Energy, Wellness and Metabolism.

Launching under a new brand name will be CBD Functional Infusions and RTD Coffee Beverages, according to the release. Those items will initially be available only in certain regions.

The company also plans to feature several new items in its current product lines as well. All of them can be found at booth no. 3265.
