Avocados From Mexico plans fall promotions
Avocados From Mexico is kicking off the fall season with two unique promotional campaigns designed to elevate engagement, expand usage and increase basket size, said Stephanie Bazan, vice president of trade and market development.
“Each program will have a targeted lineup of elements designed to drive consumption across the path to purchase,” Bazan said.
This fall’s programming features a new partner, eye-catching displays, consumer savings and digital and social elements to continue to grow the category and demonstrate that “delicious, healthy Avocados From Mexico are worth every bite,” she said.
Avocados From Mexico is celebrating the flavors of Hispanic Heritage during Hispanic Heritage Month — Sept. 13 to Oct. 18 — by partnering with Takis chips and offering custom displays featuring Avocados From Mexico and Takis.
The program will be supported by digital and social media.
“Shoppers will love discovering the intense combination of hot chili pepper and lime from Takis Fuego tortilla chips with creamy, delicious avocados all month long,” Bazan said.
And this fall — Oct. 11 to Dec. 27 — Avocados From Mexico is going to “Guac the House!”
In this first-time program, shoppers can purchase fresh avocados for a chance to win a new home worth $500,000 plus $150,000 in other prizes, including a kitchen makeover, backyard upgrade, home entertainment package, ultimate home office, home improvement gift cards and kitchen and laundry appliances.
