Coosemans Chicago Inc. on the Chicago International Produce Market is expanding selected items, like increasingly popular dragon fruit, continuing as the exclusive distributor of Fresh Express products on the market and is excited about the new B&W line of retail products, said Mark Pappas, president.

B&W Quality Growers, Fellsmere, Fla., traditionally has sold a number of products primarily for foodservice, Pappas said. But now the company has introduced items like arugula and watercress for retail.

“B&W has a real nice retail line,” Pappas said. “It’s really starting to catch on.”
