Curation Foods has added a new salad line, Vineyard Collection, to its Eat Smart brand.

The two salads have exclusive dressings from O Olive Oil & Vinegar, the first time Curation Foods has paired with another brand, according to a news release.

The Vineyard Collection is launching with two varieties:

  • California Champagne Caesar — Romaine, shredded Parmesan cheese, croutons and Citrus Champagne Vinegar and California Olive Oil vinaigrette blended with garlic, anchovy and lemon; and
  • California Basil Balsamic — A Mediterranean-inspired salad with romaine, shredded carrots, radicchio, feta cheese and flatbread strips, with California Fig Balsamic Vinegar and California Olive Oil blended with basil leaves, garlic, black pepper and honey.

Vinaigrette-based salad kits are gaining household penetration 10 times faster than non-vinaigrette kids, according to the release, citing Nielsen research.

The salads are available in the U.S. and Canada now, including Publix and Loblaws stores, for a suggested retail price of $5.99 U.S./CA, for a 9-ounce bag.
