The Giant Co.’s dietitians spotlight produce and wellness topics in National Nutrition Month webinars

Free, live Zoom classes led by a team of dietitians will be offered the entire month of March by Pennsylvania-based grocer The Giant Co.

For anyone looking for wholesome, fruit and vegetable focused dinner tips, The Giant Co. has developed several webinars geared for cooks and families across the U.S. this spring.

The Carlisle, Pa.-based grocer is celebrating National Nutrition Month this March with dietitian-led Zoom classes geared towards families and chefs of all ages.

“Finding balance when you’re busy can be a real challenge, but every day offers up opportunities to eat together, which is why our team of dietitians is here to provide some inspiration,” Holly Doan, a registered dietitian and licensed dietitian nutritionist with The Giant Co., said in a news release. “National Nutrition Month is a great time to reset with easy and quick ideas to help brighten up your plates and bring better to your family’s table.”

The classes include a wide range of topics and are led by The Giant Co.'s team of dietitians. The series of webinars launching this March includes:

  • Produce Spotlight — Join The Giant Co.’s dietitians every Monday to explore how fruits and vegetables add ease, convenience and nutrition to meals. March is also Frozen Food Month, and the dietitians will highlight ways to bring delicious and inspiring dishes to life for both dinner and dessert.

  • Well-being Workshops — On Mondays, the dietitians dive into ways to improve one’s overall well-being, whether it is improving physical wellbeing and gut health or one’s financial well-being with tips to stretch a budget.

  • Table Talk — Join The Giant Co. dietitians on Wednesdays for an interactive discussion on the benefits and importance of incorporating whole grains into a healthy diet. Also, learn some unique ways to add whole grains into your meals.

  • Family Meals at 5 — Learn how to build easy, quick and balanced meals in under 30 minutes every Tuesday this March. In this series, dietitians highlight The Giant Co.'s Nature’s Promise line of products and turning meat, seafood and produce into delicious meals.

  • Easter Dinner on a Dime – With the ham as a centerpiece, dietitians help round out the entire meal with sides that won’t break the budget. Join the free class on Tuesdays to bring an entire holiday meal to life.

  • St. Patrick’s Day on March 16 – Also on tap is a special night of St. Patrick’s Day fun as the dietitians explore festive food and beer pairings on March 16 and help prep for the next day’s festivities.
