Leamington, Ontario-based Pure Hothouse Foods has a new item in its snacking vegetable lineup: Uno Bites Nano Cucumbers.
The mini cucumbers come in either a top-seal package or a clamshell, and there are pint and 1.75-pound sizes available, according to the company's sell sheet for the product.
The Uno Bites go well in salads or dipped in hummus, and their flavor is complemented by herbs, spices and flavors including lime juice, dill and mint, and other foods with which they go well are bell peppers, black olives and chicken, per the sell sheet.
One of the health benefits of mini cucumbers is that they are 95% water, qualifying them as a "thirst-quenching snack," the company writes.
