Well-Pict Berries offers a socially distant Mother’s Day
Well-Pict Berries, Watsonville, Calif., created a virtual promotion for Mother’s Day to keep consumers socially distant and safe.
On May 8, Well-Pict will release a blog with recipes to honor mothers, plus Mother’s Day themed Well-Pict backgrounds that families can use while keeping in touch through Zoom videos, according to a news release.
“Mother’s Day is one of our busiest berry sales dates of the year. We wanted to make sure the customers had some fun ways to spend time with their families while being quarantined,” Jim Grabowski, director of marketing, said in the release. “It’s important that the public practices safe distancing for just a little bit longer as the world gets closer to reopening. We hope that this can encourage people to make safe decisions while still being able to honor their mothers.”
Consumers and retailers are encouraged to download the Mother’s Day Zoom backgrounds.
Also, retailers can get a digital retail kit with virtual tools available this summer. Contact Anthony Bonilla at anthony@mpluscreate.com for more information.
