Two universities and an association that represents blackberry and raspberry growers are studying retail strategies and how the pandemic is affecting sales.

Researchers from North Carolina State University and the University of Arkansas are working with the North American Raspberry & Blackberry Association.

The survey is intended to gain more information about 2020 caneberry pricing and retail strategies and the effects of COVID-19, according to a news release.

“Information collected in the survey will be used to gain a better understanding of the marketing, pricing and sales strategies currently being used by caneberry producers across the United States and Canada,” according to the release.

The survey results will be published in an association member newsletter and e-mailed to participants who request to receive the results.

“The survey should take around 10 minutes to complete,” according to the release.

Participation in the survey is voluntary. Responses will be recorded anonymously; no identifying personal information will be collected.
