Traina Foods Inc., Patterson, Calif., has announced the launch of Pasta Toss, the latest fruit-forward product in its Traina Home Grown line.

Instead of jars of pasta sauce, Pasta Toss features easy-to-use tear pouches containing freshly chef-chopped California sun-dried tomatoes blended with herbs, spices and olive oil, according to a news release.

“We are dedicated to the continued development of dried foods as a way to bridge the gap between the recommended intake of fruit and actual consumption all of our sun-dried fruit products,” CEO Willie Traina said in the release.
