Fowler Packing Co. Inc., Fresno, Calif. will debut its Peelz mandarin brand in November, according to a news release.

The fruit will be available in 1-, 2-, 3- and 5-pound packs.

The company announced earlier this year the end of a partnership with Los Angeles-based The Wonderful Co. to grow and pack mandarins under the Halos brand.

Marketing for Peelz mandarins will include digital campaigns, in-store demos, displays and giveaways.

Sean Nelsen, most recently senior director and produce lead for Elk Grove Village, Ill.-based Topco Associates LLC, has joined Fowler as vice president of sales and marketing and has formed a team to support the launch of the new brand, the release said.
