Dragon fruit looks cool already, but this HLB Specialties fashion shoot shows the fruit at its finest. The image made us pause, marvel at its beauty and then read the text.

And that succinct text is quite helpful.

It tells the reader that this is the white dragon fruit variety, it’s great in salads and — most useful of all —how to cut and prepare it for eating.

With these more exotic fruits, “How do I cut/peel/eat it?” is a big stumbling block for first-time buyers, as well as possible repeat purchases.

Note to self: Get melon-baller.

United Fresh Produce Association capitalizes on one of those “National (fill-in-blank) Day” holidays, and it’s a biggie: National Agriculture Day.

Gratitude is always welcome, and United Fresh uses this time as an opportunity to thank our farmers of all kinds: field, greenhouse, vertical farms.

The four photos show some of the diversity of agriculture processes. We don’t all grow the same and thank goodness for that.

Talk about timely. On the official first day of spring, March 20, Mucci Farms posted a super-cool shot of one of its indoor tomato farms.

The angle of the shot with the lines sprouting from the bottom right corner and underneath the tomatoes really make the post interesting.

The Kingsville, Ontario-based company keeps it simple too, with no lengthy message necessary.

Sometimes a powerful image and four short words can say it all.

More than 281 viewers agreed with likes, loves or wows.

Ocean Mist Farms got us on two points with its LinkedIn post.

First, videos are fun, and this one shows us a behind-the-scenes view of the artichoke fields. We always want to see what’s there when the curtain is lifted.

Not only that, it’s a limited-time chance to see not just artichokes, but even more striking—purple artichokes.

We all know what corn and tomatoes look like in the field, but less common purple artichokes are pretty intriguing.

Just the idea itself — Potavocado Toast — tickled our funny bones and tastebuds.

Gotta love a good wordplay and anything with avocado, arguably the most on-trend fruit of on-trend fruits.

Recipe developer Justine E. knows snacks. In recovery from disordered eating, Justine cares about her health but not in an extreme way. She loves to eat and makes meals based on cravings and what seems the most delicious and indulgent.

For this recipe, she mashes avocado with fresh lemon juice and dill and dabs it atop crispy red potato halves, drizzled with hot sauce.
