Awe Sum Organics, Santa Cruz, Calif., expects to have Pacific Northwest blueberries starting June 22.

Early varieties start in late June and the company’s late varieties will finish in early September, according to a news release.

“Since the coronavirus pandemic, organic produce sales have increased,” David Posner, president, CEO and founder, said in a news release. “I think that’s because people are more health conscious than ever. Organic blueberries in particular are experiencing a major boost in sales likely because blueberries are known to have so many health benefits.”
