The focus is on organic mushrooms at Phillips Mushroom Farms, Kennett Square, Pa., says Sean Steller, director of business development.

“We’ve got all eight of our organic varieties available in organic packages,” he said.

The organic mushroom category has been growing over the past couple of years as consumers “continue to focus on eating healthy organic produce and venturing out into new mushroom varieties as well,” he said.

The company also grows mushrooms in Warwick, Md., and opened a facility early in 2022 in Jennersville, Pa., about 10 miles west of Kennett Square, he said.
