NatureSeal, Westport, Conn., has a new product designed to keep guacamole and cut avocados from browning.

The company, which uses a blend of vitamins and mineral powders to extend the shelf life of fresh produce, has more than 30 different formulations for specific fruits and vegetables.

The avocado formulation prevents browning of guacamole for up to five days when refrigerated, and also prevents browning of cut avocados, according to a news release.

The NatureSeal product maintains the texture and color of avocados/guacamole, without altering flavor, according to the release.
