Salinas, Calif.-based Naturipe Farms is marketing its “thoroughly washed and ready to use” blueberries to the reviving foodservice sector, suggesting that operators can reduce back-of-house labor with this product.

Available in 18-ounce and 32-ounce packs, these blueberries are contact-free and have a shelf life of 21 days, according to the company. The convenient peel-and-reseal packaging also helps to avoid spills and food waste.

The company reduces its plastic packaging use through a Cultivate with Care program. Naturipe also handles raspberries, strawberries, cranberries and organics.

Naturipe is also partnering with Chobani Greek Yogurt to offer two berry parfait flavors using its blueberries: Doubleberry Crunch and Vanilla Crunch.
