Pero Family Farms recalls vegetable noodle kit due to allergens

Pero Family Farms Food Co. LLC., Delray Beach, Fla., has recalled a zucchini noodle product because it did not list egg and milk, which are classified as allergens, on the label.

Pero Family Farms Food Co. LLC., Delray Beach, Fla., has recalled a zucchini noodle product because it did not list egg and milk, which are classified as allergens, on the label.

The Zucchini Spiral Pesto Side Dish Kit, in an 11-ounce pack, has a “run code” number of 1196272F, and a use-by date of March 20, according to the recall notice.

The kit is in a flexible, clear plastic container will labels on the top and bottom. The run code and use-by date are on front bottom right corner of the package.

No illnesses have been reported in connection with the mislabeled packages.

Pero Family Farms distributed the kits to Florida, Alabama, Tennessee, South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia and Georgia.
