Over the next few months, the company will aim to digitize, track and facilitate the movement of over $3 million worth of fresh produce including cucumbers, bell peppers and strawberries from Mexico into the U.S.

Historically a big packer and shipper of cucumbers, Nash Produce in recent years has been solely focused on sweetpotatoes, said David Bradley, director of business development for the Nashville, N.C.-based marketer.

Social media posts, collaborations with schools and cooking demonstrations are among the outreach the company plans to help inspire U.S. consumers to make healthier choices and to provide resources and support to growers.

Mastronardi Produce says it plans to showcase the latest four SKUs in its berries lineup.

On the heels of Hurricane Milton, the $6 million increase is in addition to $10 million previously committed for relief and recovery efforts in Florida, Georgia, Tennessee and the Carolinas from Hurricane Helene.
