Bancroft, Wis.-based RPE will be the exclusive marketer of potatoes and onions for Agri-Pack, Pasco, Wash.

Agri-Pack parent company CSS Farms, which grows onions and chip and specialty potatoes in several regions of the U.S., has worked with RPE in the Tasteful Selections partnership since 2010. Tasteful Selections markets bite-size potatoes; Plover River Farms Inc., Stevens Point, Wis., is the third partner in Tasteful Selections.

Agri-Pack grows, packs and distributes potatoes and onions, according to a news release.

“Agri-Pack will be the cornerstone of an expanding onion program that contributes to growth an entire industry, just as we have demonstrated with the potato industry during the last 10 years,” RPE President Russell Wysocki said in the release, referring to RPE’s growth from a Wisconsin potato-focused company to one that markets product from every major onion and potato growing state and Canada.

Larry Denke will remain in charge of sales at the Pasco Agri-Pack office, where he has been for 13 years, according to the release, with support from RPE sales and marketing staff throughout the U.S.

The change becomes effect March 12, with the Pasco office becoming an RPE location.
