Broccoli grower Atlantic Fresh, formed by L&M and Parker Farms, is expanding its acreage.

Broccoli grower Atlantic Fresh, formed by L&M and Parker Farms, is expanding its acreage.

The company is harvesting in Florida, and added farms in North Carolina, New Jersey and New York in 2018. The company has also been increasing cauliflower and organic broccoli production, according to a news release.

The company, which has a “Harvest one day — Deliver the next” motto, has a new brand design and website, www.atlanticfreshproduce.com. The new logo appears on the company’s boxes, bags, overwrap stickers and rubber band tags.

L&M and Parker Farms, both of which have more than 15 years of experience growing East Coast broccoli, formed Atlantic Fresh in 2010, according to the release. The company, which ships year-round, has 14 farms in Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia, New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania.
