The Georgia Fruit and Vegetable Growers Association is consolidating its resources for children, educating them on fresh fruits and vegetables.

“Because of the pandemic, we have periodically developed lesson plans for teachers, two-minute videos on where your strawberries are grown, and more,” said Charles Hall, association executive director.

People will be able to find the link on the committee’s website, www.vidaliaonion.org, starting early or mid-May, he said.

The resources are “to help parents looking for something for their child to do,” Hall said, such as an activity book for first-, second- and third-graders.
