HBF International LLC, Sheridan, Ore., has hired a new member for its sales team, said CEO Doug Perkins.

Brian Fisher, most recently with Wawona Packing Co. LLC, Cutler, Calif., has joined HBF as sales account manager.

Perkins anticipates a nice blueberry crop for late spring and summer.

“It looks like the industry has nice fruit coming down the pike,” he said. “The crop looks really good.”

HBF will harvest blueberries throughout California’s San Joaquin Valley until around mid-June and then move to Oregon around June 20.

HBF will have blackberries from Oregon from late June through September.
