Monterey Mushrooms is asking consumers to show their “burger love” by creating a mushroom-inspired burger and sharing a photo to win prizes.

From now through Sept. 2, the Show Us Your Burger Love photo sweepstakes gives consumers the chance to win prizes including a portable gas grill and cooler tote kit with picnic accessories, barbecue tool kits and Monterey Mushroom-branded blankets.

“People eat more fresh mushrooms during the summer than any other time of year, so we are excited to see what kind of mushroom burger recipes they create,” Lindsey Roberts, marketing manager, said in a news release.

The company is promoting the sweepstakes through food bloggers, social media and a consumer newsletter.
