The Peruvian Asparagus Importers Association expects summer volume to remain consistent as the crop approaches peak shipments in August and September.
The association represents 95% of the importers and producers of Peruvian asparagus, according to a news release.
“These men and women have the expertise of decades of knowledge and can guide and provide buyers, retailers with the information, statistics and tips to assist in selling more asparagus,” Jay Rodriguez, CEO of Crystal Valley Foods and co-chairman of the Peruvian Asparagus Importers Association, said in the release.
The association’s website, peruvianasparagusimportersassociation.com, offers retailers buying trends and demographic information, according to the release.
