Embracing their trendy status, Brussels sprouts are riding a strong wave of demand.

Spring is an active marketing season for the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, and department officials say there are more items than ever to promote.

ORLANDO, Fla. - Castroville, Calif.-based Ocean Mist Farms featured a couple of new items in the Produce Marketing Association’s Fresh Summit innovation showcase.

Boggiatto Produce, Salinas, Calif., has changed its name to Hitchcock Farms in a rebranding.

Seventeen percent of all consumers polled by The Packer’s Fresh Trends 2023 survey indicated they purchased Brussels sprouts in the past year.

The organic brand has unveiled a new lineup of products for fall, which include organic butternut, acorn, spaghetti, buttercup and delicata squash.
